Tony Laughlin I Graduated in 1971 from AHS. I graduated from Western Montana College in 1976 with a B.S. in Elem. Ed. I graduated in 1989 with a Master's Degree in 1989 in School Administration from the University of Montana. I taught 6 years of departmentalized science at Lincoln School from 1976-82, then from 1982 to 1985 3rd grade at Lincoln. In 1986-87 I taught in Nurnberg, Germany a combined 3-4 class. In 1987-88 I taught PE to grades 4-6 at West Elementary in Anaconda. From 1987 to 1991 I taught Title I to grades 1-3 at Dwyer Primary. From 1991 to 1999 I taught 3rd grade at Dwyer Primary. Since 1999 I have been a principal at Lincoln School. When I was younger I worked in the furnaces at the Anaconda Smelter. I also worked about 3 years as an attendant at Warm Springs State Hospital in the early 70's. I coached the girl's frosh at AHS in basketball from 1979-1981. I am married to Vicki Laughlin and I have twin sons, Dan and Pat. I grew up in "Goosetown" in a family of nine. The highlight of my educational career was when Lincoln School was declared a Blue Ribbon School in 2006 by the OPI and the US Department of Education. |
