Coursework and Grading

*Unit Tests & Final Exam 30%- At the end of all units there will be a test to ensure the students have learned the material.

*Projects & Participation 30%- Throughout the course there will be a group and research project: these assignments will be graded bases on the students adherence to specified guidelines and the class presentation. The students participation in classs will also proficiency; the only way to gain these skills is to participate in class

*Homework & Quizzes 30%- There will be daily homework assignments in my class. If you have paid attention in class the assignments should not take more than 10-20 minutes. Practice is key to learning a foreign language. Homework must be turned in on-time for credit. If you are absent you must turn it in as soon as you return to school. I will give quizzes occasionally to encourage students to form good study habits.

Signed Progress Reports 10%- Progress reports will be my way to communicate with your guardian (s). The report will keep them informed about what is going on in the classroom and how you are doing in the class. They need to be signed and returned for credit.
